Untitled by Robert Casey I think I'll never see a poem as lovely as a tube. A tube whose hungry cathode is pressed against the Earth's sweet flowing current. A tube that amplifies God all day and lifts its plate to pray all day. A tube that may in Summer's wear an ultralinear connection on her screens. On whose glass bulb getter has lain who intimately lives with vacuum. Poem are made by plagiarists like me, but only God can make a tube.... (this is payback for having been forced to memorize crap like this in grammar school!) Close this window to return to index |
